Medha Chidambaram’s corporate practice focuses on drafting and negotiating transactional documents, including operating agreements, by-laws, articles of incorporation and governance resolutions. She advises clients on corporate governance, entity formation, and ongoing regulatory compliance. As a member of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions team, Medha provides support in all phases of transactions, including conducting due diligence, assessing risks, assisting with transaction structuring, and deal execution. She also advises on the legal aspects of the manufacture and sale of goods, including terms and conditions of sale or purchase and supply and distribution agreements.

Before joining Masuda Funai, Medha was an associate attorney in the corporate group of a Midwest firm. Prior to receiving her J.D., Medha was a licensed student attorney for the Champaign County Public Defender, where she prepared pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda for criminal defense trial strategies. She also did a 3-month judicial externship for Judge Ramona Sullivan of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Illinois, and she was a summer associate for the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, performing in-depth legal research and managing intake processes to facilitate senior litigation efforts.
