Fluent in English and Japanese, Shinya specializes in advising Japanese companies operating in the U.S. across various sectors, including manufacturing, hospitality, and automotive. He is a key member of the firm’s Japan Resources Group, providing insight and legal support for cross-border transactions and foreign investment.
In 2024, Shinya was appointed as a Legal Advisor to the Board of the Detroit Ringo Kai Japanese School. He previously served as a legal advisor to the Board of Directors of the Chicago Futabakai Japanese School and represented the Office of the Consulate General of Japan in Chicago.
