Hirokazu Kishinami is an associate in the Commercial, Competition & Trade practice group, and he focuses on drafting and reviewing terms and conditions of sale and purchase, distribution agreements and other contracts essential for commercial transactions in the U.S.
Hirokazu was born and raised in Saitama, Japan and is fully bilingual in Japanese and English. He is a member of the firm’s Japan practice, and his acute understanding of Japanese culture is a tremendous asset to our clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Hirokazu was a law clerk for a small firm in Washington, D.C., where he drafted motions and memoranda of law supporting civil litigation and court filings. He also served as a student attorney for the Janet R. Spragens Federal Tax Clinic, and he was a summer associate with Masuda Funai in 2021. During law school, Hirokazu served as a research and spading volunteer with the Washington College of Law War Crimes Research Office in D.C.
