As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to sweep across the United States and, with no immediate end in sight, Masuda, Funai, like many of our business clients, is adjusting to the “new normal” of operating its three offices remotely from our homes. Yet all of us remain committed to providing the highest level of quality and responsive legal counseling you’ve come to expect from our Firm. Please be assured, we remain on the job.
Our primary goal remains the same - protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our team members, clients and the larger community. We have created an internal taskforce that meets daily to monitor the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the state and local efforts throughout the US, to address its impact. As we learn of developments in state “stay-at-home” and “shelter-in-place” orders and the evolving guidelines and recommendations of our public health officials, we will report them to you through our client advisories posted on our website and, if appropriate, through telephone calls and e-mails.
Until we know it’s safe for our employees and the community at large to return to work, our attorneys and staff will continue to office at home. To ensure business continuity and sustained operations, our IT and Operations teams have fully equipped us to work remotely in order to service our clients without interruption. Masuda Funai continues to strictly comply with best practices with respect to social distancing, in situations which require employees to periodically interact with each other.
