We are excited to announce the recent addition of Murray L. Gordon to the Corporate & Finance team in the Chicago office.
Murray will serve as Of Counsel to the firm, enhancing our ability to service clients in need of cross-border tax planning and tax examination defense. He has decades of wide-ranging experience as a partner with two major Chicago law firms, in-house tax counsel at several Fortune 100 life sciences companies, tax director of a well-known personal care corporation, and as an executive director with a Big Four accounting firm. He has designed and implemented tax-effective supply chains, monetized and tax-effected intellectual property, performed due diligence in acquisitions, prepared business segments for divestiture, and developed other structures that have enabled his clients to optimize both the returns and taxation of their intangible property, high-value operations, and investments.

Murray holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, a J.D. from Loyola University, and a B.A. from Brandeis University. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and the United States Tax Court.
