On February 23, 2021, Kathleen Gaber, Principal at Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell, Ltd., participated in a panel discussion “Business Immigration & Global Mobility in 2021: What’s Next?” co-sponsored by Alliott Global Alliance (“AGA”), BritishAmerican Business (“BAB”) and Farkouh, Furman & Faccio (“FFF”). The virtual event brought together immigration legal and tax experts for an important discussion on the prospects for business global mobility, and immigration in the United States and the United Kingdom in the upcoming year. Also covered were important legal and HR considerations related to visas, short- and long-term employee migration for international business, and tax strategies and implications for businesses and their employees. 170 members of AGA and BAB on both sides of the Atlantic attended the virtual event.
