In business transactions, a variety of contract documents are executed. In order to properly allocate legal risks arising from these contracts between the parties, it is essential to understand the meaning of the provisions set forth in them. What provisions should you pay attention to when reviewing these contracts? How does the perspective of the reviewer change depending on whether the reviewer is on the supplier's side or the customer's side?
This webinar, focusing on transactions in the automotive industry, will first (1) provide an overview of the transaction in its entirety, particularly the relationship between the various contract documents that are exchanged during the course of the transaction, and then (2) explain the most important items that should not be missed when reviewing contracts, including Warranty, Indemnification, Intellectual Property, and other important items from both the supplier's and customer's perspective. Those who are directly or indirectly involved in the review of contracts are encouraged to attend.
