Lisa Dreishmire is a skilled litigator with extensive experience as lead counsel for federal and state class action, multi-plaintiff and single plaintiff litigation, arbitration and appeals involving claims of alleged employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation, breach of employment contract, trade secrets, benefits and other issues. She is experienced in affirmative litigation such as enforcement of non-competition and non-disclosure agreements, and trade secret protection as well as ERISA, OSHA, and traditional labor law and commercial litigation matters. Lisa has worked extensively with e-discovery solutions. She balances legal and business interests while negotiating creative solutions for her clients.

Lisa’s employment law expertise also includes drafting and advising clients on policies, best practices and liability avoidance, non-competition, employment, confidentiality and release agreements, employee handbooks and other workplace strategies. She provides training on a wide range of employment law and other issues, including preparing for and responding to data breaches. She is dedicated to achieving the best results for her clients from both legal and practical perspectives. Lisa is a member of the Firm's Diversity and Inclusion Committee.  She serves as a Member of the Illinois State Bar Association's Federal Civil Practice Committee.

Prior to joining Masuda Funai, Lisa served as Assistant Deputy General Counsel for Federal Litigation for the Board of Education of the City of Chicago and was previously a shareholder with a multinational employment law firm.
