Masuda Funai Promotes Robert S. White and Jason M. Metnick

The Board of Directors of Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell, Ltd. is pleased to announce the promotions of Robert S. White to Equity Principal and Jason M. Metnick to Income Principal.

Based in the firm's Schaumburg office, Robert White is a member of the Immigration practice group, advising and working with companies to obtain all manner of business nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and green card status for their employees, managers, and executives. He also represents and defends companies in U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Labor Condition Applications and Form I-9 audits.

In addition, Mr. White serves as immigration counsel for numerous colleges and universities. He is an active speaker and member of the leadership team of NAFSA: Association of International Educators Region V, and AILA's ICE Worksite Enforcement Committee. He is an advocate for the reform of the U.S. immigration laws and he frequently travels to Washington to meet with congressional representatives.

Mr. White is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Jason Metnick is a business litigator and trial lawyer in the firm's Chicago office. As a member of the Litigation, Distribution & Sales, and Business groups, he counsels multinational companies in the manufacturing, automotive and logistics industries with commercial disputes involving complex business transactions. He also counsels clients on day-to-day business, partnership and agency, employment disputes, and real estate disputes, as well as ownership disputes that arise from secured transactions.

Mr. Metnick is a graduate of the University of Michigan and DePaul University College of Law, where he was an editor of the law review. He is the Executive Secretary of the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association and acts as pro bono counsel to Lawyers for the Creative Arts.
