Two Associates Join Masuda Funai's Immigration Practice Group

Masuda Funai is pleased to announce the addition of two Immigration Practice Group associates, Esther Contreras and Jacqueline Lentini McCullough, to the Firm's Schaumburg office.

Ms. Contreras handles various employment-based immigration matters such as nonimmigrant petitions and PERM applications. She earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2008 as well as attended the Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a semester. She graduated from Northwestern University in 2002 with a B.A. in International Studies and French completing a year of study at various universities in Paris, France. Ms. Contreras is a native Spanish speaker and maintains French proficiency.

Ms. McCullough has gained extensive experience in immigration matters as part of AE Gustafsson, where she handled all matters of immigration case management, including Labor Certification (PERM), H-1B, L-1A, L1-B, L-1 Blanket, E-1/E-2, TN, B-1, and I-140 (EB-1, EB-2, & EB-3). She counsels clients on consular processing and Client Adjustment Interviews, and has filed Adjustment of Status applications, including Advance Parole and Employment Authorization.

Previously, Ms. McCullough was an Immigration Specialist for World Relief, for which she obtained Board of Immigration Appeals accreditation and filed VAWA petitions, and Adjustment of Status and Citizenship applications, with continued involvement volunteering at World Relief sponsored Naturalization Workshops.

Prior to her law degree, Ms. McCullough was employed by the University of Houston and Purdue University as a F-1 and J-1 student counselor. She has over ten years of experience with immigration issues as both an attorney and foreign student advisor.

Ms. McCullough obtained her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, earned a Masters in Arts in Italian Studies from Brown University, and a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University. She is fluent in Italian.
