Masuda Funai is hosting this complimentary seminar in conjunction with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Chicago (JCCC) for Human Resources personnel in charge of handling transfer of employees; Managers, Executives and Administrators who handle business procedures within a company; and new and current expatriates who want to understand more about the U.S. laws. The Human Resource Certification Institution (HRCI) has approved this seminar for 2.25 credit hours toward PHR, GPHR and SPHR recertification.

This seminar will address the legal issues and business procedures that Japanese companies and their American subsidiaries should be aware of and follow to ensure proper compliance with U.S. immigration laws and protection of valuable business information.  The program will cover a myriad of important immigration-related topics, including immigration considerations for corporate mergers and reorganizations, immigrant visa (green card) considerations for multinational managers and local hires, the U.S. and Canadian immigration ramifications of DUI's and more. There will be a cocktail reception immediately following the presentations.
